Although preceding the International Year of Crystallography, the 2012 Australia Post stamp depicting Sir W. L. Bragg is a handsome companion to the special issues that celebrate the Year. It formed part of a commemorative issue celebrating Australian Nobel Laureates in 2012, and featured in the Bragg centenary celebrations at the 2013 meeting of the Asian Crystallographic Association. At that meeting, a special commemorative sheet produced by Australia Post was released on limited sale.
