Although not an official release connected with the International Year of Crystallography, the 2014 Royal Mail stamp depicting Max Perutz makes a suitable addition to the special issues that celebrate the Year. It forms part of a set of 10 stamps celebrating remarkable individuals from the realms of sport, design, economics, heroism, science and the arts, who were born in 1914.
