The OpenLab Ghana, an IUCr-UNESCO initiative in collaboration with PANalytical BV, F. Malawi Engineering Co. Ltd., and the Department of Physics at the University of Ghana in Accra, Ghana is currently ongoing.

This OpenLab provides crystallographic training in X-ray Powder Diffraction and is fully subscribed with attendees coming from Ghana but also from neighboring countries, like Liberia and Nigeria. The lecturers are Prof. Gilberto Artioli (Università di Padova) and Dr. Marco Sommariva from PANalytical.
